THE INVENTOR

Dr. Edwin Cevallos is a respected and accomplished medical professional In Ecuador, specializing in Oncology, Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy. A clinical practitioner by vocation the doctor has concurrently dedicated himself to investigation and research. His formal education began at the Central University of Ecuador where he obtained a medical surgeon degree. Dr. Cevallos then traveled to Mexico to begin his post graduate work in Oncology and Radiotherapy. Afterwards he returned to Ecuador to commence what would become his life’s work.

Dr. Cevallos has held many distinguished positions throughout his career. In 1969 the President of Ecuador named him the Lt. of Health for the army. He has been both professor and practitioner in many hospitals in Ecuador, while also filling many governmental and institutional posts in varying capacities. He is a founding member of the Latin American society of Hepatology. Most recently he holds the post of Director of the Tumor Institute of Ecuador.
